shrimp scampi recipe
PREPARATION TIME: 15 minutes SERVES: 4
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 pounds peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 8 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
  1. Prepare pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat; add garlic and cook 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and cook 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink in color, stirring occasionally. Remove pan from heat.
  4. Stir in parsley and remaining ingredients. Serve over pasta.
